DEVAR TORAH PARSHAS TETZAVEH

In the first posuk of this weeks parshah it talks about what oil should be used for the menorah. It states, “shemen zayis zach.” There are three levels in torah; water, wine, and oil. Water symbolizes on the simple parts of torah, wine is on the secrets of the torah, and finally the oil, which is on the most deepest level of the secrets of torah.

Every time the torah that talks about the mishkan, and bais hamikdash, we can take a lesson from them, and trandsform it into/for the ruchnius avodah of a person. Everything in the torah is written with general talk, and specific talk. It is also regarding the oil, that there are as mentioned before three levels; water, wine, and oil. Toras chasidus is also the penimius of the torah which is the level of oil. In chasidus there are specifics; like as the frierdike rebbe said, “in chasidus there are, moosar, chakirah, and chasidus…
